Coach Henry's Charges Take Last Five Games by Handy Margins. EUREKA, Utah, Dec. G. Yvith the Sumo on Thanksgiving with tho L. U. S. team tho Tintic hiyh school finished tho most successful football season in the history his-tory of the institution, with a record of five -won and two lost. After its defeat at the hands of Payson the Tin-tic Tin-tic team struck its stride and was never scored on during the remainder of the season. They ran up a total of 1S1 points against thvir opponents. Their success is due to the coaching and discipline of Coach Henry, who took a team of inexperienced players and whipped them into one of the best high school t.jains in the state. The backfield was exceedingly fast and the line was powerful at every position. iloss Chase, fullback and captain, is the fastest and most aggressive back-field back-field man over :ocn in this part, of the state. Had ho come under the eyes of the' critics he would undoubtedly have been mentioned among the state high school all-stars. 0. Fullnv.T, E. Fullmer, Full-mer, "Puce" Gourley and A. Chase also played we'd. The Tintic high was unfortunate in meeting their two strongest opponents before they struck their stride, and the popular opinion here is thai had they met Pnyson later on they would have won the right to meet tho East high for the, championship. The later season dope is decidedly in favor of Tintic. They defeated Springvillo by the score of to 0, while Payson won from Springville 12 to 7. Tintic beat "Wasatch academy 20 to 0, while tho best Payson could do was to hold Wasatch even at 7 to 7.
