Show DRAMATIC CONTESTS TO BEGIN THURSDAY The competitive dramas conducted by the Salt Lake- stake Mutual Improvement associations of the L. D. S. church will commence Thursday evening, with ten wards participating. James S. Morgan and Don C. Wood, of the state board act ivities commltt ee. In charge of the series, say that sixty amateur arti-sts will take part. The schedule for Thursday follows: The Fourteenth ward will compete with i the Sixteenth ward in the. Sixteenth ward amusement hall ; the Twenty -ninth with the Center in the (.renter ward; the Nineteenth Nine-teenth with the Seventeenth In the Seventeenth Sev-enteenth ward; the Twenty -eighth with the Twenty-second in the Twenty-second ward and the Fifteenth with the Twenty-fourth in the Twenty-fourth ward hall. The one-act play chosen for presentation . Is called "Sunset." The winners of the first, series will compete at a later date, until tho finals are decided. The annual compe, ttlve series of do-bates do-bates will be held in January. |
