Show PROTESTS REMOVAL OF LIGHT METER Mrs. J. S. Stewart, proprietor of a boarding house at Magna, made protest to the public utilities commission to the effect that her light service had been cut off without notice by the Progress company and that the meter had been taken out. The company replied that the meter had been removed because of fraud on the part of Mrs. Stewart, and It produced pro-duced before the commission a meter, said to be the one taken from Mrs. Stewart's house, which liad what is technically tech-nically known as a "jumper" (a piece of wire connecting two different wires as they entered the meter) attached. The commission took the matter under advisement. J |
