Show a Deaths and Funerals DEATHS. Walter Eli Wilcox, since 1852 a resident resi-dent of E-alt Lake, died at the residence, 868 Washington street, yesterday of infirmities in-firmities due to old age. He was born April 11, 1821, in Dorchester, Mass., anu came to Utah from Barton, Mass. He was employed as a woodworker by Brig-ham Brig-ham Young in the sawmills near Sa;l Lake. He was the father of a large family, which includes Dra. Ct F. Wilcox and E. E. Wilcox of this city. Funeral services will be held Sunday. Benjamin Stephen Chapman died at his residence, 1118 Ashton avenue, yesterday yes-terday following an illness of five years. Born in East Mill Creek, May 13. 1S68, he lived there until two weeks ago, when the family moved to Ashton avenue. Those who survive are his mother, Mrs. Sarah Ann Chapman; his wife, Mrs. Ellon Chapman; four s is, J. M. Chapman, B. L. Chapman and Raymond C. Chapman of Salt Lake, and Noel Chapman, who is serving in Alaskan waters on the U. S. S. Brooklyn, and one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Jensen of Salt Lake. There are also six grandchildren, threo brothers and four sisters, all of whom reside In Utah and Idaho. Funeral services wll be held at the residence Sunday at 11 a. m. Burial will be In the Mill Creek cemetery. FUNERALS. Services for Amos B. Moreton, who died May 7, will be held at O'Donnell & Co.'s funeral chapel S-unday at 3 p. m. Interment Inter-ment will be In City cemetery. Rites for Mrs. Margaret C. Morgan, wife of William I. Morgan, who died Mav 5 at Powell, Wyo., will be held this, afternoon after-noon at the Eber W. Hall funeral chapel under the direction of the Rev. Peter A. Simpkln. Mrs. Morgan wns the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Bird of Tooele, t'tah. Interment will be in the family plot in Mount Olivet cemetery. |
