Show IMPROVEMENT WORK IN FOREST IS BEGUN Special to The Tribune. MON'TPELIHR, Idaho, May 9. A crew of men left Montpclier yesterday to do improvement work on the Caribou forest reserve all summer. Their first work will be the repairing of fences in the Montpelier watershed in order to keep stock from polluting the creek which furnishes fur-nishes Montpelier its water supply. Several new telephone lines will be constructed, old lines repaired, and forty acres of larkspur, which has been poisoning poison-ing cattle, will be grubbed during tho summer, tn the Dry Valley section several sev-eral springs will be fenced and the water wa-ter piped into troughs for the cattle grazing on the reserve. |
