Show BUMPER FOOD CROP t" FOR WORLD FORECAST j WASHINGTON, Nov 26. Bumper i world crops of corn, potatoes, barley, rye, Bugar beeta and rice for this year are shown in eatlmates compiled by the International Inter-national Institute of Agriculture at Rome, made public today by the department ol agriculture. The production of wheat, oats and flaxseed, however, shows a decrease de-crease from the average for the five years ended in 1517. Wheat production in fourteen countries, coun-tries, excepting the central powers, will reach 2,040,509,000 bushels, $6.5 per cent of the five-year average. Corn will amount to 0,126,194,000 bushels. 14.8 per cent greater than the crop produced last year and 1.4 per cent greater than that produced for the last five years. Other crops, the department's cablegram shows, are estimated aa follows: Rye, 169.414,000 bushels, 124 per cent five-year average. Oats. 2.0Sii.786,000 bushel?, SO. 3 per cent.
