Thanksgiving Eve Is Marked by Weddings A PRETTILY arranged Thanksgiving eve wedding was that of Miss Carolyn Caro-lyn Schiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Schiller of Salt Lake, and Nathan Bloom of Tacoma, Wash., which took place at the bride's home on Sixth East street. The ceremony was performed per-formed at 5:30 o'clock by Dr. William Rice and was followed by a dinner tor tne wedding party and relatives. A reception was held' from y until 11 o'clock. The bridal course stood in a bower cu palms and ferns in the living room, lel-low lel-low and russet chrysanthemums were used about the room. The supper table m the dining room had a basket of Pi-roses Pi-roses as a centerpiece, surrounded by crvstal candlesticks holding pink tapers. Fluffy streamers of tulle extended from the electric dome. The bride wore a gown of white duchess atin, with a train draped from the shoulder' shoul-der' Her veil was caught with orange blossoms and she had a shoulder bouquet of bride's rosea and orchids. The bridesmaid. Miss Marjorie Burg of Long Beach, Cal.. was gowned in pink satin, draped in Georgette crepe, with crv stal trimming. She carried pink roses. Herbert M. Schiller, brother of the bride, was best man. Assisting Mr. and Mrs, Schiller m receiving re-ceiving were Mrs. M. Bloom of Tacoma. mother of the bridegroom, and Mrs. B. Miller uf Portland. Ore. Gurnsey took place last night at the home of the bridegroom bride-groom on E3St First South street. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Elmer I. Goshen at 8 o'clock, and was followed by a reception. The wedding bower was arranged in the living room. A bell of white roses was' suspended from the center. A va-reity va-reity of fall flowers were used about the house, and smilax was twined about the stairway In the hall. A crystal basket of pink roses, with pink tulle on the handle, han-dle, was the centerpiece for the supper table. Tho bride wore a gown of white satin and silver cloth, with a veil caught with orange blossoms. She carried bride roses. The maid of honor. Miss Mary Beatle, wore orchid colored taffeta. One of the bridesmaids, Miss Norma Kent, were pink taffeta: another. Miss Agnos Snow, was gowned in pink taffeta, and the third, BOSS Blanche Beesley. wore rale green taffeta. All the maids carried Old-fashioned bouquets of Cecil Brunner roses. The flower girl, little Miss Virginia Coffman. Coff-man. niece of the bride, wore pink net and carried a basket of Cecil Brunner roses. Dr. John Wilson was best man. Assisting in receiving were Mr. and Mrs. D.
