Show CONGRESS ARRAIGNED FOR ITS "FAILURES" WASHINGTON, Nov. 26. Homer S-Cu S-Cu minings, chairman of the Democratic national committee, in a statement tonight, to-night, arraigned congress for Its failure to enact at the extraordinary session the reconstruction program outlined by Republican Re-publican leaders. Mr. Cummlngs said the house had "frittered" away its time in "futile investigations in-vestigations of war activities," and that the record in the senate was even "more discreditable." as it had occupied six months In "sterile" debate without being able to say "yes" or "no" to the peace treaty. |
