Show BINGHAM HOOPERS ARE AFTER GAMES SpecUl to Th Trlbco. BINGHAM. Nov. JC Coach Stubby Peterson of the Bingham high school has had -his basketball squad out for two weeks. Only one man of last year's first team Is back at school and three of last year's second team. George Knud-son. Knud-son. forward and center of last year's team, was selected captain, and the team will have to built around him. John Dahlstrom. a member of the first squad last year. Is also on hand to hold down the job at center regularly this year. Hyland, Stlllman and Turner, who played on the second team last year, are trying; out for the first team this year. Tom Wilson, who played three years ago, but who has not yet appeared In a suit, as he Is making up back work. Ike Gef fen and Fat Williams compose the remainder of tho squad and will likely develop into first-class players. Coach Peterson is handicapped by not having enough players out to make two teams, and the first team therefore gets verv little real practice. A game was played last week between the high school and a team composed of Whltelv. Sorenson. E. Knudson, of last year's championship team; Jock Jordan, an old Salt Lake high star, and Percy Pautoh. The high school won out by two points In a fairly well played contest. con-test. G. Knudson showed his old time form and put in ten baskets from all parte of the floor. Stlllman was guarded guard-ed closely by U. Knudson and only got one basket. Coach Peterson would like to arrange practice games with other teams. He can be reached at the Bingham high schooi.
