Five hundred was the game of the evening. C. E. Cotton received first honors for men and Miss Harriet Siatery the. first honors for ladies. Consolation prizes were awarded to Mrs. Hayden and K. P. McFanand. Mrs. Joseph Schroll, Mrs. Paul P. Stone and Mrs. Dan Thomas entertained at a miscellaneous shower the first of the week for Miss Anna Sack, who became the bride of Ralph C- Drollinger at Black-foot Black-foot Wednesday. The bride received many useful gifts. The members of the Utility c'ub met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Gene Carey, president. Mrs. Rena Klamt of Squirrel was an outside guest. After, the business busi-ness session a short program was given. The members will entertain their husbands hus-bands at a party November 19. The senior class of the Ashton high school gave a dinner party during the week in the domestic science room at the high school. Superintendent and Mrs. C. E. Cotton and Miss Mudget were guests of honor. The entire supper was planned and prepared by the class and reflects the careful training it has been receiving in domestic science. Mrs. Glenn Simmermacher entertained twenty-four ladies at bridge Tuesday evening. eve-ning. The home was decorated in the national na-tional colors and cut flowers. A two-course two-course luncheon was served. Mrs. P. P. Stone was awarded first prize and Mrs. A. N. Townsend the consolation. Elmer Loft and family have left for Clarence, Mo., to spend the winter.
