Show PLAN KM WORK ST jpipn More Prospecting Is Being Done Than for Several Sev-eral Years. EUREKA, Nov. 15. Extensive development develop-ment work is being carried out on the lower levels of the Iron Blossom ana either one of three drifts, now being driven, is quite liable to bring about new-ore new-ore developments. At no time in recent . years has the management devoted more attention to prospecting new territory and those who are most familiar with the mine are confident that ore will be found in this virgin ground. One of the prosDect drifts is being sent out toward the east at a depth of 2200 feet the object being to cut at depth an outcropping of quartz. The showing is satisfactory in this drift and also m the two other drifts which are being driven at depth. While the figures are not avallab.e at this time. It is generally understood that the Iron Blossom has beer, making considerable con-siderable money during the past few-months. few-months. This is information that can onlv be secured from the company's Provo office, but the' tonnage of the past month seems to have been heavy enough to have given the Iron Blossom profits of more than $10,000. The previous month's record was perhaps just as good and th'e outlook for November Is equally favorable. Taking the figures which were given out several weeks ago and adding ad-ding the amount that the mine should have made since that time, it would appear ap-pear that the treasury now contains better bet-ter than $175,000. The advance in the price of silver has been a big help to the Iron Blossom aB most of the ore now being mined is a silver product. |
