A special offer on one or two models of the one-ton and one-and-a-half-ton Republic Re-public trucks is the event of the week at the Randall- Republic company. These trucks have been slightly used as demonstrators demon-strators and consequently have been reduced re-duced somewhat In price. Special preparations prep-arations are being made to dispose of them during the coming week. Typical of the service which a Republic truck owner may expect from his dealer is the following incident being told by Manager Duncan of the Randall-Republic company: ' Part of the policy of the Republic Motor Truck company of Alma, BClch.. 3 to render good service to owners of its trucks when they are i:i need of service. ser-vice. 'A Republic owner called on the dealqr in Grand Rapids, Mich., for certain parts. His truck would be out of commission until the parts' could bx procured from the factory, it so happening that they were temporarily lacking from the local stock, although an express shipment was en route from the factory- The express shipment was already behind schedule delivery time, and rather than keep the Republic owner waiting and his truck In Idleness. W. H. Rayburn, the local Republic Re-public distributor, located In Grand Rap-Ids, Rap-Ids, an airplane, which was not then engaged, en-gaged, and inside of ten minutes was winging its way through the air toward the Republic factory at Alma. Mich. "This trip was made in little over an hour and before the fast train couid have made the run one way, the dealer was back in Grand Rapids with the needed parts. In consequence, the Republic truck was again In service the same day, saving sav-ing many valuable hours for its busy owner." |
