The party will be guests of Mrs. Solomon Solo-mon Siegel at luncheon at the Hotol Utah immediately after arriving in the city. A visit will be made to the tabernacle tab-ernacle from 3 until 4 o 'clock this afternoon af-ternoon and members of the party will be guests of honor at a tea given by Mrs. Franklin S. Richards at her home on A street at 5 o'clock. At S o'clock this evening, in the supper sup-per room of the Hotel Utah, Mrs. E. Jean Nelson Penfield will address a meeting held under the auspices of the Business Woman's club, to which the public is invited. A special invitation has been extended to the members of the Utah liar association, through their president, W. D. Eiter. The members of the Utah supreme court also have been asked to be present. Dean William Leary of the University of Utah will preside at the meeting. PREPARATIONS are complete to welcome distinguished suffragists of the nation, including Mrs. Carrie Chapman Catt, president of the National Nation-al Suffrage association, and several of her coworkers to Salt Lako to attend a meeting of the Utah League of Women Voters, which will meet in this city tomorrow for a two days' session. Mr3. Catt and party will arrive here at noon today and will be at the Hotel Utah during their stay. Accompanying Accompany-ing Mrs. Cait will be Mrs. E. Jean Nelson Penfield, chairman of a national nation-al committee for securing standardized iaws for men and women; Dr. Valeria Parker, chairman of department of social, so-cial, hygiene of the National Suffrage association; Miss Marjorie Shuler, especially es-pecially interested in child welfare; i Jas&le A. Following is the schedule of meetings of the sections of the Ladies' Literary club for this week: The dramatic section wiil meet Monday Mon-day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Tho officers for the year ending I - (Continued on Page Elevon.) ' Mrs. Penfield is a practicing attorney attor-ney and a member of the Women's Bar association of Brooklyn. She is a lecturer lec-turer on practical law in the Brooklyn Law school, St. Lawrenco university. Practical law is a branch of law instituted insti-tuted by Mrs. Penfield in 1917 as an aid to the women left "behind " in wartime war-time when the men of their families were called into the service of their country. The legal problems which faced many unprepared women at that time, Mrs. Penfield believes, should be solved for all women, whether in war or peace. Mrs. Penfield will discuss the unification of laws governing the civil status of women in the United States. Mrs. Penfield. according to the testimony testi-mony of tho press of the country, is an excellent speaker. She was a leader in the exhausting suffrage campaigns conducted con-ducted in tho state of New York from 1913 to 1917.
