Show YOUNG WOMEN OF PROVO TO AID IN DRIVE FOR FUNDS Special to The Tribune. PROVO. July 20. Members of the Girls' Patriotic league of Provo, who have been active in the war work of the community, are this week devoting their energies to putting the Salvation Army fund drive over the top. This organization of the younger women of Provo has played a prominent pert in every drive conducted during the war by the Red Cros.s, Y. M. C. A., the Liberty loans and other causes. The local organization is affiliated with the state branch of the National league for Women's Service. This week the young women will take charge of a num-bnr num-bnr of booths in Provo and neighboring cities, where they will sell their doughnuts dough-nuts for dollars to help the organization which made itself famous in the war continue con-tinue its service to humanity. |
