Show TEN COMMANDERS HOME FROM FRANCE NEW YORK, July 20. Ten commanders com-manders who distinguished themselves with the American expeditionary forces returned today on the Aquitania. The party was headed by Lieutenant General Gen-eral Hunter Liggett, commander of the First army corps, and Major General Joseph T. Biekman, who commanded the Americaii army of occupation. With them was Benedict Crowell, assistant as-sistant secretary of war, who has been in Europe on an aviation mission. The others were Major Generals George (J. Squier, chief of the signal Corps, and Mason M. Patrick, and Brigadier Brig-adier Generals Harold B. Fiskc, Harry A. Smith, Wilson P. Burtt, Stuart Heintzelman, Dennis K. Nolan and Joseph Jo-seph C. Castncr. |
