Show 'MUSEUM ACOUIRES FUR-BEARING DUCK The L. D. S. church museum has re-1 re-1 ceived a specimen of a fur-bearing Aus-t Aus-t rattan duck, sent by Pres'dent A. P. rMiller of the Australian mission. It is known in its native haunts of Last Australia. Aus-tralia. New Guinea and Tasmania as a duek bill. The duck is covered with thick fur. which throws off the water when swimming swim-ming and prevents the earth from reach-in reach-in tr the sic in when burrowing. It lias a. bill like a duck and the web feet have five powerful claws. Its tail resembles that of a beaver. The specimen, which i is about twenty inches long, has been prominently placed in the museum. |
