The San Pedro, Ped-ro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad company lost its fight to recover penalties for violations of the hours of service act, when the supreme court today dismissed its writ of error from the lower court, therehy practically affirming the conviction convic-tion in" the lower courts. The prosecution grew out of the failure of the railroad company to change train crews on the line between Las Vegas, Nv., and Los Angeles, Cal.
