Show COMMERCIAL CLUB SUGGESTS RELIEF Appeal in behalf of relief for the Utah ! Light and Traction company, -which is seeking to increase its street car revenue to meet unusual conditions, was received yesterday by the state public utilities commission from F. C. Richmond, president presi-dent of the Commercial club, who transmitted trans-mitted a copy of the following resolutions resolu-tions adopted by the membership council: "Be it resolved. That the utilities commission com-mission of the state of Utah be respectfully respect-fully asked that a sympathetic hearin? be given the Utah I.igrht and Traction company in its request for financial reiicf in the operation of the company; and be It further "Resolved, That it is tho sense of the membership council and the board of governors of the Commercial club that relief be given if the Utah Light and Traction company satisfactorily proves to the commission the purpose of its cause." |
