Show ALMA RICHARDS IS NOT IN BEST FORM Alma Richards, who captured the high jump championship in the last Olympic games, found the handicapping a bit too severe yesterday afternoon at the track and field games arranged by the Irish Volunteers at Shell Mound park. All of which does not detract rrorn the reputation reputa-tion of the justly well-known Mr. Richards. Rich-ards. Alma, after a nice lunch, consisting of different things, went out and took second sec-ond place in the hop, step and jump, and being dissatisfied with his work in this event continued with a smart showing in the sixteen-pound shotput, staged under un-der handicap rulings. Richards is a high jumper by choice, and judging from the showing that he made in pretty unfamiliar unfamil-iar events, he is going to show the talent a lot of stuff in the coming far western track ancl field championships.
