BIG Um STARTS 111 PLEASANT fclFrj Governor Simon Bamberger Is to Be in Attendance i 7 Friday Evening. i Special to Tho Tribune. PLEASANT GREEN, Sept. 19. The Old Home-town bazaar, for the benefit of the new Catholic church here, opened this evening with a large crowd and under un-der most favorable auspices. It Is under un-der the management of the Rev. Father Frederick Antonine Murphy, who has charge of the parish, and will continue to and including Saturday evening. Friday evening Governor Simon Bamberger has promised to be in attendance. There is no admission charge and all those coming before is p. m. are permitted to take part in a free drawing. There is a popularity contest in progress and the most popular young woman will receive a gold watch. A Ford touring car will be given away, and there will be various other attractive features. The members of the committee assisting assist-ing Father Murphy are: Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Burke, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. So-wadzski, So-wadzski, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Bixeman and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Rinmund. |
