Show SEVEN MAXIMALIST GOVERNMENT HEADS RESIGN POSITIONS PETROGRAD. Monday, Nov. 29. Seven commissioners appointed by the Maximalist Maxi-malist government to manage various departments de-partments have resigned their positions in protest against the "methods of political po-litical terrorism" by which they allege the Bolshevlkl seek to maintain themselves them-selves in office. "We are of the opinion." they assert in the declaration announcing t heir retirement, re-tirement, "that the necessary form of Po-cialiMie Po-cialiMie government by parties is that participated in by the congress of workmen's work-men's and soldiers' delegates." They do not wish to follow the lines chosen by the Bolshevik!, which, they assert, as-sert, "lead to alienation of the proletariat prole-tariat from political life and lead to the creation of an impossible regime which means the destruction of the revolution and the country." Among the commissioners quitting thvir posts were those in charge of trade, interior, in-terior, supplies and press. The labor commissioner Joined in the protest, but retained his post. |
