VETERANS OF SPANISH WAR MAY ENLIST An attempt is to be made to enlist the services of the veterans of the Spanish-Amercan Spanish-Amercan war in the event there is a conflict between this country and Germany. Rabing. commander in chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, paid a visit to Salt Lake recently with the idea of starting a post of the organization organi-zation here. Organization here has been placed in charge of A. J. Mechin, custodian of the armory, who will receive applications for membership and give all necessary Information. Infor-mation. The Veterans of Foreign Wars is made up principally of veterans of the 1 Spanish-American war. It counts among its membership a large number of army officers, congressmen, "state officials and prominent business men.
