Show CANDIDATES WILL BE 1 INITIATED BY ELKS Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Feb. 16. About fifty residents resi-dents of Ely and McGill, Nev., including includ-ing a class of twenty-five candidates for initiation into Ogden lodge No. 719, B. P. O. E., will reach this city Saturday evening, according to information received re-ceived today by W. C. Camp, exalted ruler of the lodge. It had been planned to run a special excursion train from the , Nevada town for the pilgrimage, but a sufficient number could not be secured to obtafn a special. The visitors, therefore, there-fore, will come in on the regular train. , A reception committee from the lodge will meet the visitors at the union passenger pas-senger station and, following a dinner at the Pacific hotel, the special lodge session ses-sion will be held for the initiatory exercises. exer-cises. The Elks who will accompany the Nevada candidates are all members of the Ogden lodge. The visitors will be entertained at the club on Sunday and a. second special lodge meeting will be bela Sunday afternoon. |
