Show COAL SUPPLY IN CITY IS BETTER According to J. D. Kenworthv, assistant assist-ant general freight apent of the Denver Den-ver & Rio Grande railroad, during the twenty-four hours ended at midnight of February 15, the Denver & Rio Grande railroad brought into Salt Lake City 148 cars of coal from Utah mines, destined des-tined to Salt Lake and points beyond. The situation as regards the local supply has been greatly aided by weather wea-ther conditions, though the supply is not as ample as coal dealers would like to have it. However, with a normal demand de-mand they feel the supply will enable them to cope with present orders. Only a real cold spell will add to their troubles, trou-bles, when the demand for coal will become abnormal' and far in excess of the supply. i |
