OCR Text	Show STRIKE IN KENO EXCITES ATTENTION Special to The Tribune. PROVO, Feb. 16. General Manager K. S. Jordan uf the Keno, Indian Queen and King David properties reports that ore has been struck at a depth of fifty feet in the Keno shaft. An eighteen-lnch vein of palena has been cut in copper-stained copper-stained barite. Work is progressing under favorable conditions in the old tunnel of the Indian Queen, and operations with diamond drills will be resumed on the Kinr David as soon as tho pipe line is thawed out ar.d the road to the property is opened. R. L. Andrew, who has been connected with the Knight companies In mining operations op-erations for several years, lias been appointed ap-pointed general superintendent of the Keno, Indian Queen and King David and will take charge of the operations on the properties at once.
