(DEMOCRATIC WOMEN I EXCEEDlniGLY ACTIVE Many Clubs Are Being' Organized Or-ganized and Other Political Po-litical Work Done. The Democratic Women's state committee com-mittee began an active week's campaign yesterday with an enthusiastic meeting at the Newhouse hotel. Talks were made by Joseph S. Hyde and R. R. Tanner, who have been touring the state in the interests of the party and who gave glowing glow-ing accounts of Democratic enthusiasm In all sections visited. Mrs. Gwendolyn Lewis Little, who has been assisting in organizing the Demo- j cratic women of Sanpete and Sevier coun- ! ties, returned to Salt Lake Sunday and ! yesterday was sent to Weber county on a similar mission. Today about twenty-five twenty-five prominent Democratic women of the city plan to go to Bingham, where a big meeting is to be held tonight at which a Women's Woodrow Wilson club will be organized. Mrs. Elizabeth Hayward and Miss Anna Meier are scheduled to go to Tooele to- , night to assist in organizing the Demo- ! cratic women of that city. A telegram received yesterday at the . headquarters of the women's state committee com-mittee announced that Mrs. Helen Ring Robinson, state senator of Colorado, will reach here Wednesday morning from Denver Den-ver to begin a speaking campaign in the interests of President Wilson and the Democratic ticket in general. While Mrs. Robinson will discuss all the Issues of the ca mpaign, her attacks will be directed largely against the National Woman's party. A reception in honor of Mrs. Robinson Rob-inson will be held at the Newhouse hotel Wednesday night under the auspices of the Democratic women's state committee. Mrs. R. K. L. Collier, chairman of the Democratic women's state committee, and Mrs. John B, Reid have returned from Carbon and Emery counties, where they assisted in -perfecting organizations of 1 Democratic women In the principal towns of the two counties. Organizations were effected at Price, Sunnyslde, Mohrland, Orangeville, Castle DaJe and Huntington. A Women's Wilson club also was or-ganized or-ganized in Davis county by Mrs. Elizabeth M. Cohen, secretary of the Democratic i state committee. The organization was : effected last Saturday.
