Show BIG SUGAR FACTORY ! CELEBRATION HELD ! i Special lo The Tribune. HRIGHAM CITY, Oct. 2. The cold, rainy weather of the past two days and today had a had effect on the sugar factory celebration held here today, and as a result the crowd was small and there was but. little enthusiasm. However, the big feature of the celebration was carried out to the letter. The barbecue at the Academy of Music tunnels was a thoroigh success and several hundred persons regaled re-galed themselves on hot roast beef sandwiches sand-wiches served by about forty persons. The meeting held at the Alta theater at 11 a. m. was well attended by repre- I sentative men and women from all sections j of the county and a programme of speeches ! and musical numbers was given. Ad- dresses we're made by Mayor John F. Erdmann, George M. Cannon of Salt Lake, J. Francis Men-ell, president of the Commercial Com-mercial club: Fred J. llolton, F. W., Fish-burn Fish-burn and John D. Peters, Victor K. Mad-sen, Mad-sen, W. R. Dredge, and Mrs. Connie M. Peters sang a selection. In the afternoon at 3 o'clock the Oregon Short Line operated a special train to the sugar factory, which is located one mile north of the depot.
