Civilian I marksmen have been invited to partici pate in the national rifle matches to begin at Jacksonville, Kla., October 11, under the auspices of the war depart- : ment. It was announced today that the governor of each state had been asked to send one or more teams, in addition 1 to those from the national guard, transportation to be paid by 'the gov-; ernor for one team or the money di-i vided if a state sends more than one.
