Provision for the dismissal of tho city '8 in junction suit against tho Big Cottonwood mining companies was made yesterday. The necessary legal document docu-ment for dismissal of the caao was tiled with the county clerk by VV. H. Brainel of tho citv law department. The officials ot the Cardiff Mining company and tho Boston Development company, operating tho Maxrield mine, agreed to all terms of sanitation that the citv health department, or the waterworks department, might impose in protection of the purity of the water from the canyon stream, according to Attorney Brantel. Already the horse eanvp that was regarded re-garded as a menace has been moved back from the stream, and the mining officials have expressed a willingness to ha?o it moved yet farther if regarded neiu'9sary. To obviate tho need of approach ap-proach of horses to the creek, a pipe fine has been installed to carry water to a drinking trough. Tho mine officials of-ficials promise that all refuse from the hauling of ore will lie gathered and liumed at such frequent intervals as to insni-e the best sanitary conditions. In addition to these facts, the horses are being supplanted as rapidly as possible Viv the installation of motor trucks.
