After Larson had consumed a glass of beer, and fallen to the floor unconscious. uncon-scious. Marshall said he saw Read and Davis carry the man to the rear of the saloon. It was shortly afterward that police officers arrested the three men who are believed to have administered some sort of drug. Dr. W. K. Whalen. who attended Larson Lar-son last night, declared that the man displayed almost certain signs of having been given chloral. Larson was unconscious uncon-scious and in a serious condition through the night, the officers fearing for a time lhat he would not recover. Today he had recovered sufficiently to t.ell his name and inform the police that he. arrived ar-rived in Ogden yesterday from 1'astle Rock, Vyo., with his mouth's pay for work on the Union Pacific, double tracking. track-ing. Although not certain as to the amount, Larson believes he was robbed of about $4."i. He could not identify the three men luider arrest as having been his companions in the saloon.
