Show Woman Is Exonerated. Mrs. Mattte Hatfield, who was charged with having taken ?S0 from the person ot II. C. W. Saylor, was discharged yesterday yester-day by Judge K. A. Rogers. .Judge F. C. I.oofbourow of the Third district court. Captain John Hem pel, Mrs. Henry John-ton, John-ton, Mrs. Margaret Robinson and Mrs. Mattie Perkins tetsified as to the good reputation of Mrs. Hatfield and said on the stand that her reputation was of the very best. Mrs. Hatfield, by some six witnesses, showed she was at work at the time of the alleged offense and could not possibly have been connected with or had any knowledge of It. |
