Show PREPARATIONS FOR ELECTIWPLETE Polling Places Are Selected for the Contest of Next i Wednesday. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Dec. 1 Preparations for the school election to be held in this city next Wednesday were completed.1 tonight, when the board of education selected polling places in each of the five municipal wards and appointed the judges of election. The polls wilL be open from 7 a. in. until i p. m. Due to the interest that has so far been shown in the campaign the indications point to a large vote. To correct a general impression that only taxpayers may vote next Wednesday, Wednes-day, the board authorized Miss Viola M." Clancy, clerk, to publish notice in the newspapers that any qualified voter of the ward in which he or she resides is entitled to vote at the school election. elec-tion. This means, therefore, tbat any person who voted on November 7 last or who was registered and failed to vote at that time is entitled to vote for a member of the board of education. educa-tion. The erroneous impression concerning the qualifications of a voter for the coming school election is thought to have resulted from the fact that only taxpayers are permitted to vote at bond elections. The last school election was on a bond proposition. The polling places and judges for the Wednesday election are as follows: First ward Pingree school ; Mrs. Alice Collins, H. jM. Mack and B. H. , Goddard, judges. Second ward Grant school; J. E. Williams, David W. Evans and J. A. Smith, judges. Third' ward Mound Fort school; Walter Crane, Andrew Wilson and Mir-tillo Mir-tillo Shaw, judges. Fourth ward Madison school Joseph Jo-seph Evans, Edith Held and Walter Richey, judges.
