THOUSANDS OF QUAIL KILLED BY STORM Despite of every effort being made by farmers and by deputies in the department depart-ment of the state fish and game commissioner com-missioner to save the birds, fullv 50 per cent or the ouail in the state before the recent snowstorm broke have perished.
