Show MONEY PROVIDED FOR BALKAN EXPLORATION VIENNA, Jan. 13. The Austro-Hungarian government has appropriated $25,-000 $25,-000 for the scientific exploration of the Balkans. The commission selected for the work is headed by Count Paul Telekl, the! secretary-general of the Hungarian Geographical Geo-graphical society, and consists of the following fol-lowing scientists: Professor Dr. Albert Pecsl. geographer; Dr. Joseph Andreansky. member of the Hungarian Academy of Science, botanist; Professor Dr. Eugene Cholnoky, president of the Hungarian Geographical society, geographer, and Dr. Ernst Cslki. curator of the zoological department de-partment of the National museum in Budapest, Bud-apest, zoologist. |
