Barker by a iary last evening on the charge of srrand larceny resulted in a speedy termination of Lis case today when he pleaded jrnilty to a second count of the same character to evade pro?ecnti.m on two other pendinc charges. The art ion w;is taken at 3 o 'clock, this afternoon before J udfio J. A. Howell, who inimediatcly sentenced Barker to serve an indetertninate term of fr'ini or.e fn twenty years in the suite prison.
