Show IDAHO EDUCATION BUDGETS PISSED Special to The Tribune, BOISE, Idaho, Feb. 6. The 1015-1916 budget for the state's educational institutions, insti-tutions, house bill No. 63, was passed j by the house of representatives this morn- i Inc. despite the last effort of the minority to effect an economy" by reducing the I appropriation. Approximately $550,000 Is carried by ; the bi!I for salaries, current expenses, i maintenance and improvements at the university, normal schools, industrial school, academy and deaf and blind , school. The bill is approximately the same as introduced by the house commit- tee on educational institutions with the exception of an amendment to include ! an appropriation for the Albion normal. Some of the requests made by the separate sep-arate institutions were sfRiei down by the I board of education or by the appropria-I appropria-I tions committee. As it stands, the ap-i ap-i propriatioxi is the largest proposed to be j given by the legislature to the state ; schools. j Representative Anderson of Canyon led j the final attempt to defeat the bid on ! the minority side on the argument that I the state ts not in position to afford so i j lare a support to its schools at the i present time.
