The vocation voca-tion convention of the Mutual Improvement Improve-ment associations of the Hoxclder stake, to bo held In this city next Saturday, is an Important event iu connection "with the regular quarterly conference, and an elaborate programme has been announced by Stake Superintendent Ernest P. flora-ley. flora-ley. There will be two sessions of the convention, one at 10 a. :n. and one at 2 p."m., and two sporting events will follow fol-low In the afternoon and evening. Whltaker; "Adaptation and First Steps to Become a Mechanic," Professor- George C. Luney, The M. I. A. basketball teams of Bear River City und Brlgham Fourth ward will meet In a game In the high school gymnasium gym-nasium at 4:30 p. m.. and In the evening, in the Alta theater, a wrestling match between be-tween the Hansen brol hors of Bear River City and t lie Bott brothers of the Fourth ward will take place. Music for both events will be furnished by the Geneva band. |
