Show ENLARGE COMMITTEE FOR NORWEGIAN DAY Outline Plans for Celebration Scheduled Sched-uled for May 16-18 to Ooinmemorate Norway's Independence, The Norwegian committee, which has in charge the arrangements for the Norwegian celebration on May 17, met last night in the courtroom of Judge M. L. Kirehie in the city and county building and added tho following names to tho general committee ot fifty named at the mass meeting last week: P. Poulsen, Arnt Engb, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Samuclson, Rudolf Stockseth, O. 1L Dahl, Carl Linri, O. Proislaud, 0. J. l Widtsoc, Jons Hendricksen, Trygve Torgcrsen, Eagua Madseu, P. Fjcfibo aud C. L. Hess. The committee was then permanently permanent-ly organized as follows: I. C. Thoren-sen, Thoren-sen, chairman; A. H. Boxrud, Dr. J. A. Widtsoe of Logan, O. II. Berg of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, A. M. Nielsen of Shelley, Idaho, and Arnt ISngh, vice chairmen; 0. O. Winther. secretary; Carl Willie, assistant assist-ant secretary; Axel Straaborg, treasurer. treas-urer. The iibovo officers, with r,he following persons, form the executive committee: Dr C. L. Olseu, O. J. P. Widtsoe, O. Proislaud, Joseph Strna-berc Strna-berc and Christian Johanuesen. Tho executive committee will meet in the Amundsen studio, 241) South Main street, at S i clock Wednesday night, to outline tho plans for the celebration, cele-bration, which is to commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of Norway's Nor-way's independence.
