Captain Woods has opened a registration department depart-ment in his office, 225 D. F. Walkor building, and will endeavor to And employment em-ployment for all family men who aro in need of work. "At the present time wo must confine our work to helping men who have families," fam-ilies," said Captain Woods last night. "We have on record many cases of men whose families arc distressed because the fathers cannot find work. Wo hope to create a public sentiment that will rush the beginning of spring building operations opera-tions and such work so that the unemployed unem-ployed can bo put to work." Captain Woods said ho was in close touch with most of tho principal cltlca of tho United States, through correspondence, corre-spondence, and expressed tho belief that In tho matter of unemployed men Suit Lake was In far better condition than almost any other city. Nevertheless, Captain Woods and the association are anxious to ellmlnato all such cases possible. pos-sible. Captain Woods has established tho bours of 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. for his registration regis-tration bureau and asks that all applicants appli-cants for work call during that time.
