INVESTIGATION IS ON. Judge Gunnel! Is Looking Into Alleged Violation of Child Labor Law. Special to The Tribune. OGDDN", Fob. 12, Upon receipt of information in-formation that the child labor laws are being violated In Ogden, Juvenile Judge V. C. Gunncll has entered upon, an investigation in-vestigation of the alleged offenses. With tho assistance of other Juvenile officers, ho expects to make a thorough canvass of the retail establishments and factories fac-tories to ascertain whether boy3 and girls of school age are employed. In some instances, as recently reported by tho school authorities, boys and girls who should be attending school are allowed to work in tho stores and factories because their labor is necessary to tho support of younger brothers and sisters. Judge Gunncll believes that a means may be found for placing these children baclc In the sohools.
