BIG SEGISWl FOR SUMMER SCHOOL More Than 600 Enrolled First Day for Courses at University. Thero was an unusual rush yesterday to register for the summer, school work offered by the University of "Utah. At the close of the day the register's book showed a registration of more than GOO which Is a considerably larger number than was registered at the end of the second day's' registration last year. States as far east as tho Missouri river and as far west as the Pacific are represented in this year's registration- The courses will continue for a term of six weeks. There arc a number of courses offerod this year that have not been attempted in previous summer schools, ono being a course of ten lectures by Dr. Tyler on "Child WelTare From Infancy Through the High School." open to mothers and other interested persons not taking regular regu-lar work The usuul normal course and the courses in dancing, athletics ajid those courses chiefly for review work will be given as usual. The faculty will be stronger than ever this yoar. Among the instructors aro Dr. Joseph Petorson from the Brlgham Young University of Provo. The German courses will be supervised by Francis W.
