The marriage of Miss F.laine Helen Nelson and lOrnest. L. Smith will take place in Portland, Ore., Tuesday at the homo of Dr. and Mrs. Philo K. Jones, formerly of this city. The bride is a sister of Mrs. Jones and is well known hero. Mr. Smith is one of thofrusted railway men of the Oregon Short .Lino ofilces here. After a trip through the northwest the young people will come here to make their home. A marriage of the past week which was of interest to a wide circle of friends was that of Miss Minnie Mav Lamhotirne, daughter of Alfred Lam-bourne, Lam-bourne, the artist-poet, to Josoph Shanks of Rigbv, Idaho. The ceremony cere-mony was performed on Monday after noon by the Rev. P. A. Simpkin in the presence of the family only. The next evening at the home of the bride's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Ernest M. Fowler, a delightful delight-ful reception was given the two young people before their departure for' their new home. Many of the closest friends were present to extend good Avishcs and Mr. and Mrs. Shanks received many handsome presents. They left thai night for their new home in Rigby.
