ONE OF WIDELY KNOWN OFFICIALS OF SALT LAKE Had Been III Only Two Days When Affection Proved Fatal. After an illnos of only two days, Michael Fitzpatrick, ohiof inspector for the board of public, works, died suddenly of rheumatism of tho heart at his homo at tho Independence hotel Friday afternoon. after-noon. Until two days ago Mr. Fitzpatrick Fitz-patrick apparently was in tho best of health and hia death caino as a sevcro shock, not only to his family, but also to a largo circlo of friends and to hia fellow workers in the public works department, de-partment, where; ho was a faithful and popular omployoe. Mr. Fitzpatrick was 56 years of ago and had been a resident, of Utah for nioro than ten years, lie was born at' Muscat ina, Iowa. Mr. Fitzpatrick is survived by a widow and four children, two sons and two daughters. They aro Mrs. May Trega, Miss Alico Fitzpatrick Fitzpat-rick and Joseph and Thomas Fitzpatrick. Fitzpat-rick.
