Show LATE REPORTS FROM THE LAKE PROPERTIES "Copper" of Houghton. Mich., gives the latest developments in tho various so-called Lake properties in which Salt Lakers arc heavily interested- The Bohemia Bo-hemia company is arranging to Install a second diamond drill outfit. Hole No. 1 Is making good progress, and if the geology Is properly Identified nnd the conditions arc similar to those at the North Lake and Adventure, with which the geology in Bohemia's No. 1 drill so far have tallied accurately, it Is expected ex-pected that this hole will reach the No. 1 Adventure lode during the next week or two. Tho Indiana No. 5 drill hole is approaching ap-proaching 800 feet In depth, and the lode Is not expected short of 900 feet. No. 6 drill Is cutting through tho samo geology as No. 5. but about 800 feet farther south. It Is two or three weeks behind the No. 6 In progress. Drill No. I continues to drive through unidentified ground. Drill work with tlic No. 3 outfit is lo bo resumed within a few dnys. Regarding Re-garding the North Lake, "Copper" says: "North Lake has taken out a good core allowing a lodo thlrly-slx feet wide, with five feet exceedingly rich. Tills core comes from No. 7 hole. The same lode in No. 3 hole showed some copper. It is 450 feet below where No. 1 Adventure lode was cut. The disclosure of a cop-per-benring amygdaloid lodo this week in North Lake's No. 7 diamond drill hole was not wholly unexpected, because it corresponds precisely with a copper-bearing copper-bearing amygdaloid cut in No. 3 hole. Bui it was somewhat unexpected that five feet of this lodo sholdd yield a core as rich as It did. "This lodo Is still unnamed, and bears only tho serial number to which Its position po-sition In North Lakes development entitles en-titles it. it lias been spoken of as possibly pos-sibly being Adventure No. 3 lode, on the assumption that No. 7 diamond drill hole went through Adventure No. 2 lode shortly after It cuL such good ground ; in Adventure No. 1 lode. All of these assumptions of North Lako having cut Adventure No. 2 and No. 3 lodes Is exceedingly ex-ceedingly confusing and misleading, and Is based on n complete misunderstanding that prevails In regard to the position of these two lodes. "Taking No. 6 conglomerate as the base lino from which to make all measurements, measure-ments, No. 1 Adventure lodo lies at a depth of 600 feet below the hanging wall or 500 feet below tho foot wall of this conglomerate, and has been found properly prop-erly In plnoo In both No. 3 and No. 7 diamond drill holes at North Lake. But Adventure No. 2 lodo lies at a depth of 7S0 feet below Adventure No. 1 lode, and has novor heon cut by either North Lake No. 3 or No. 7 holes becauso No. 3 was discontinued several months ago, after reaching the limit of the drill's capacity, before getting down that far. and No. 7 liolo Is still loo shallow. No. 7 hole, now bottomed nt a depth of about 1850 foot, should reach No, 2 Advejituro lode at a depth of about 2200 feet." Novadas in San Trancisco. James A.
