Rawlins in the Sharp Hats, when their daughter. Miss Alta Rawlins, became be-came the bride, of John Jensen, assistant assist-ant county attorney. The ceremony wan performed In the presence of a gathering of relatives and Intimate friends. Judge Lewis officiating. The drawing room, whero the marriage took place, was made ( Into a bower of spring flowers, a canopy of two shades of plnk sweet peas being formed in one of the corners and the room being decorated in apple blossoms and white lilac. Miss Helen JLetchflcld was maid of honor and Harold Stephens was best man. Aftoi tho ceremony, the guests present thoroughly entered Into the spirit of the hour and. amid much gayety, the best wishes of all were how-ered how-ered upon the bride and groom. In one room. Ray presided over the punch bowl, and in the dining room, which was prettily pret-tily arranged in pink roses, Miss Mamie Sappingtcn, MJss Traddles Patterson and Miss Florence Culmer served dainty refreshments. re-freshments. The bride was becomingly gowned In a dress of -white crepe do chine, with trimming of pearl passementerie, passemen-terie, and wore orajige blossoms that! were a part of her mother's wedding dress of another happy event. Miss Letchfleld wore a gown of white embroidery, embroi-dery, with an overdress of pink chiffon, and carried pink sweet peas. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen have a wide circle of friends and they will continue to reside In this city, where they will shortly be at home. Miss 1. Clarence Smullyan delightfully entertained Friday at her apartments in the Bungalow, In honor of her guest. Miss Rose Wicnsky of Atlanta, Ga.. and Miss Stella Cohn. who leaves Sunday to spend tho summer abroad. During the afternoon dainty lcfreshments wore served. The decorations were in pink and white carnations and roses. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Geary announce the engagement of their daughter. Kily, to Benjamin 11. Griggs of Saginaw, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Mrs. O'Nell was formerly Miss Helen Daugherty of this city. Miss Delilah .Meyer is visiting with her aunt, Mrs. S. C. Martin. Mr. and Mrs. Lcycndecker will be at homo to their friends at tho Knutsford for several weeks, after which they will leave for New York and later sail for Europe. Mrs. N. M. Roscnblum and children and Mrs. D. Levy have gone lo Denver to visit their parents. They will bo gone for scveralmonthy. Mrs. C. M. Ciishing and Mrs. E. C. MrCullow will entertain at cards Saturday Sat-urday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gushing, on' Second avenue. Tho af-fnir af-fnir will be given in honor of Mrs. Flora E. Sinclair, worthy grand matron, Order Or-der of tho Eastern Star. Miss Helen Hartley left Friday morning morn-ing for Scoficld, where she will visit over Sunday. Mrs. Thomas- Roscainp left Friday afternoon af-ternoon for Oakland. Cal.. to visit Mr. and Mrs. A. ". Anderson. She will also visit Mrs. W, E. Cary In San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Mrs. Roscamp will not return till fall, but will spend the summer traveling trav-eling through California.
