Show WHERE IRON BLOSSOM IS GETTING ITS ORE According to Superintendent Charles Zabriskie the No. 1 shaft at the Iron 1 Blossom has now reached a depth of about 1760 feet and sinking Is going along , without interruption. The usual amount i of ore, about eighty tons daily, is being i shipped from tho No. 1 workings of the i Iron Blossom and at the present time ; all of this ore Is coming from the 500 ' level, the level upon which the company 1 opened a splendid body of gold ore some 1 little time ago. Under tho present con- tract the gold ore Is being snipped along I with the other ore. Superintendent Za-i Za-i brisklc says that tho development of the i Governor property is going along as usual t with very little change, i Three carloads of oro were sent out this week from the Mammoth mine. Manager Samuel Mclntyre says that this ore was mined by the leasers who are at work above the tunnel level. The big hoisting plant has not been placed, in . commission since the accident which ( wrecked the engine, but Manager Mc- Intyre expects that tho machinery which wasordorod for the repairs will arrive at the mine within tho next week or two. In the meantime the company has : a small hoist upon the tunnel level and the mine con bo operated to a depth of ' 1000 feet. Eureka Reporter. |
