Markham had been bantered a number of times to come In and have a drink. He accepted the banter and attempted at-tempted to leave with a glass of beer, it was knocked from his hand and he received re-ceived the contents on his clothes. The only witness for the city was Policeman Po-liceman Markham. Tho witnesses for the dofense were Ernest Brown. Thomas Evans. Ben Finch and Dr. A. G. Stoddard.' Stod-dard.'
