Show SIGNAL CORPS PASSES . EXCELLENT INSPECTION The signal corps U. X. G. held its annual an-nual slate inspection in the armory hall on Plerponl. street Tuesday evening. The corps was inspected by Lieutenant Freeman Free-man Basse tt of the start U. N. G.. who conducted the Inspection In a rather detailed de-tailed manner. He reported to Captain L. IC. Ilourne. who Is commanding the corps, that his men were in excellent condition nnd with few exceptions all equipment was in first class order. The corps turned out lacking two men, wliu were on the sick list. Lieutenant Basselt Inspected the corps on signaling and was plpased with the showing Tho flag or "wigwag" squad sent and received a message without error. er-ror. Including the corps record and the wireless Instruments. The Inspection is preliminary to the annual government Inspection, which will lie held In the armory imll Tuesday evening. even-ing. April 2C. The corps will turn out 100 per cent In attendance, and Captain Bourne Is confident that the general average aver-age of attendance and efficiency will surpass any of previous Inspections" |
