Show TELEPHONE TOLLS PUT ON; MORE JURORS FOR COURT Special to The Tribune. PROVO. April 19. The J'lah Independent Independ-ent Telephone company has announced that, commencing May 1, the users of the servico between points within Utah county will be charged a rate of from 10 cents to 35 cents a call. Heretofore llu service has been free to subscribers to any part of the county. Representatives of the Commercial clubs of the county will hold a meeting here Wednesday night to protest against the charge. Postofflco Inspector R. E. Nelson has moved his family from Bolso, Ida., and will make his headquarters in Provo. Mr. Nelson has been assigned offices In the federal building, upstairs. George Austin, representing the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Sugar company, has applied to the county commissioners of Utah county for the privilege of constructing an elevated railroad track over the county road In Lake View, to carry beets to tho sugar-beet sugar-beet crusher at that point. The matter was taken under advisement. Marriage licenses have been Issued by the county clerk to Clark Crossman of Fillmore and Edna Luke of Murray, and to Robert McCurdy of Vernal and Alta Decker of Provo. In the district court today the following follow-ing ten additional Jurors woro drawn for service for tho April term, the venire returnable re-turnable April 20- W. J. Knight. Allen, Spiingvlllc; 1-Ia'ns J. Zohell. Lake Vlow. Sheriff Judd of Utah county has levied upon tho mining property of the Tlntlc Sliver Mining company, to be sold May 9 at the suit of G- M. Sullivan vs Tlntlc Sliver Mining company. The levy and sale Is subject to a lien for $700 held by Joseph C. Cravens nnd R. V. Lockwood. |
