When he was tossed like a fellow's cap 1 I)' And caught again like ?. rubber ball J. ,, v..j .' Ii ' And never once let slip or fall. . i .V. -.r.:- IS And Dutchy, too had fun to spare v ;.:;;!t . I 1 When he was chased by that Russian bear 1. And dodged about from place to place -." t I A Till he tired out bruin in the race. 1 The Prince said bruin had enough . ' When he finished playing blind-man's-buff , w f i And with eyes bound tight had passed a hat' ' ;J . ' ' And found the place where each one sat . 'i Had a show of tears in every eye : For Domino in his princely way . . ; ' . And where the smoke from Dinkey's fires Could not be seen or noise be heard; . And where they wouldn't hear a word Of the daily news or the village talk; And where Prince Domino could walk Among the trees and shrubs and flowers And think and plan his work for hours; r - Where he and Muffles all alone Could sit on broken tree or stone; - ' Where nothing would their minds molest While they gave wireless thought a test; For the missing lad was a millionaire With a dozen millions more to spare And the Prince knew well if he found the lad And made the wealthy father glad . That his reward split up in four .'. Would buy for Dutchy a department store -: ' And a motor car and an ocean boat The swellest vessel now afloat; And Jappy, too, could buy Japan - ' And an oriental caravan '$v' '' r ' And ivoiy animals a score '.-Hj; As big as Dutchy 's department store; ; . ' : And Captain Dinkey could own a state iE And have a golden dish or plate IKj A mile across and heaped up high ;Xt With watermelons to the sky; St And he and Muffles could travel far !Sp In stately auto or Pullman car ' -JH And see the country east and west And answer every child's request 'Hi And visit all both rich and poor And then cross o'er the sea and tour M The countries old and change perhaps JHE Some little kingdoms on thex maps I And buy one out complete with gold '9m And fill it full as it could hold Mft With boys and girls and jolly play fflR And make it sunshine every day; ,JB And Domino be Prince or King ",MB! And he and Muffles rule the thing. These are some of the dreams he When he learned about the missing kjMK And this was why the Prince that BBS Moved his Gypsy camp clear out of 5H Because he knew that thought works BE , With comfort, quiet, sleep and rest. THE PRINCE and Muffles had sat &I$S Down by a brook some yards away iRta From the Gypsy wagons and Dinkey's Each dressed in Siamese attire S ' And overhead from tree to tree Hr t An oriental canopy Br And incense burning close at hand yBfcj In a little pot down on the sand pBO! And nothing moving; not a sound; lilfl Except from squirrels and birds aroundJ.Kj And croaking caw from a big black 6flRjj Who watche.d the cat and seemed to That the Prince and Muffles had that ?Sr Some great big problem under way.
